Technical Description

BELLFABS BOILERS Economizers are high-efficiency waste heat recovery systems designed to improve boiler thermal performance by recovering heat from flue gases and utilizing it to preheat boiler feed water before it enters the boiler. This recovered heat reduces the fuel energy required for steam generation, thereby improving overall boiler efficiency and reducing operating costs.

The economizer is installed in the flue gas path between the boiler outlet and chimney, where hot exhaust gases transfer heat to feed water flowing through specially designed tubes or finned tube assemblies. The system lowers stack temperature losses while increasing feed water temperature, resulting in enhanced steam generation efficiency and reduced fuel consumption.

Economizers are suitable for steam boilers, hot water boilers, thermic fluid heaters, FBC boilers, and industrial heating systems operating with coal, biomass, husk, briquettes, wood chips, oil, gas, and multi-fuel firing systems.
